- Factory drivers Reinhard Kofler & Laura Kraihamer to hit the pedal in ADAC GT4 Germany
- Reini Kofler starts in GT4 European Series with strong Swiss partner Patrick Niederhauser
Since the "rebirth" of the GT4 class by the SRO ("Stephane Ratel Organization"), the Austrian manufacturer KTM has been a crucial part of the European and international GT4 racing series, competing with its light-weight, X-BOW GT4 super sports car. Nothing is about to change in 2019, as KTM board member Hubert Trunkenpolz announced today. “We are a leading manufacturer, and our commitment to the global GT4 racing class is stronger than ever before. Quite apart from our numerous customer teams competing in global competitions from Japan to China, Australia or America, it is naturally imperative to us to be present in Europe. This year we will not only compete in the GT4 European Series with a “True Racing” car; we will join forces with our partner Reiter Engineering to take part in the brand new ADAC GT4 German series, also with a “True Racing” KTM X-BOW GT4. We are already looking forward to an exciting season, and we are convinced that we have extremely strong pairs of drivers for the cars.” Factory drivers Reinhard Kofler and Laura Kraihamer will race in the ADAC GT4 Germany in a total of seven races, including a real ‘home race’ at the Red Bull Ring. In the GT4 European Series, Reinhard Kofler will share the cockpit with Swiss professional Patrick Niederhauser, who already got to know and appreciate the KTM X-BOW GT4 during last years season. Further information and driver comments will follow in a detailed season preview just before the first race in April.
