Austria’s “True Racing” Team is preparing for an absolute highlight of the season. On Thursday, Austrian drivers will celebrate a world premiere by competing in an Austrian racing car on an Austrian racing circuit. They will fight for glory in the 12-hour race of the Creventic 24HSeries at the Red Bull Ring with numerous international GT and touring car teams in what will be a top motorsports highlight.

The first team, which registered a development vehicle in the SPX class (and once again must start in the GT3-class named A6), has already had some experience in the long-distance series. They had a successful debut last year in Brno (Czech Republic) and were on their way to the top 10 in Mugello this season, before they had to quit early. Now they are set for their first race at home in Austria at the Red Bull Ring. Hubert Trunkenpolz, Klaus Angerhofer, and Reinhard Kofler will be behind the wheel of the KTM X-BOW GT4 with start number 56, and KTM director Hubert Trunkenpolz expects more positive results for the development of the SPX Kit. "The team's hard work already bore fruit in Mugello, even when we were not able to convert this into a meaningful result. We were, however, able to show the potential of the car and I am sure that the entire team will work harder and be even more motivated at our home race. We hope for a great performance, and naturally, we want to see the finish line this time."

The second team shares the goal of reaching the finish line, but the driver trio Gerald Kiska, Johannes Stuck and Ferdinand Stuck want to do it in the SP2-class. While Gerald Kiska, chief designer of the iconic KTM X-BOW is making a comeback to racing after a two-year absence, the Stuck brothers are returning to drive the Austrian super sports car after just six months. "For us, it was love at first sight," said Johannes Stuck, who is supported by his brother Ferdinand for the race in Austria. “Ferdi and I always joke that having Austrian citizenship brings with it a half a second. We could really use that in this race because the competition is fierce. But after racing at the Nordschleife last year, we're looking forward to getting in the car again, and this time to compete alongside Gerald, that’s going to be great.”

There are two free practice sessions on Thursday: (09:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 - 16:00 hours), followed by one free practice session on Friday from 08:30 – 10:00 hours. Qualifying is from 10:15 to 11:55 hours and the first part of the race is between 14:15 to 17:45 hours. The second part of the race is from 09:15 - 17:45 on Saturday.
